Danny's Bio
Danny Featherston Co-founded Agility Aerospace with the vision of providing world-class technological solutions to the commercial and defense aerospace industry. He has over 30 years of experience with exemplary performance and unwavering commitment to soldiers, civilians, facilities, resources and equipment. Prior to Agility, he served as the Director of the Prototype Integration Facility (PIF), an element of the US Army Futures Command DEVCOM Aviation and Missile Center in Huntsville, Alabama. During his 15 years leading the PIF, he directed rapid design, development, manufacture, integration, and fielding of aerospace technology for military and other government systems. His PIF team was six-time recipient of the Army’s Greatest Invention Award, as voted by the soldier. After retiring as U.S. Army civilian in 2019 he was the Senior Program Manager for Federal Programs at Strata-G Solutions until 2021, where he provided business development and program management of customer specific hardware products and technology. Danny’s work has made him known as a transformational leader, with an extensive history in implementing innovative engineering and business practices along with strategic planning and execution of complex integration projects. Of his many awards he was named Army Small Business Programs Program Manager of the Year in 2013, 2016 AUSA Civilian of the Year of the Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, AL and Southern Region, and in 2019 was recipient of both the Army Aviation Honorable Order of St Michael Award, and the Army Artillery and Missile Defense Honorable Order of St Barbara Award. In 2019 he was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as an Outstanding American for the State of Alabama.
William's Bio
William H. Ruppert, IV Co-founded Agility Aerospace with the goal of providing state of the art capabilities for manufacturing and developing components, subsystems and system for the defense-aerospace industry. Bill has dedicated his life to serving his country as an executive with over 30 years’ experience in leading programs for the Department of Defense. Bill’s career started in San Antonio, TX as an officer in the Army’s Medical Service Corps. He then progressed in various roles as an Army officer, a consultant, and an Army Civilian. As a DAIWA Certified Acquisition Professional, he led programs as ranging from basic research to full systems implementation, working with the Army, Navy, Air Force, and DOE National Laboratories. He finished up his Army civilian career as an Executive Deputy at the Army Futures Command (AFC) as a founding member of the AFC Innovation programs. In addition to his accomplishments with the Military, Bill is also a serial entrepreneur who has founded multiple businesses in a variety of sectors, including microelectronics, portable power production, health care, engineering and management consulting. He provides mentorship and leadership to multiple start-ups and small businesses. After living all over the world, Bill has settled outside of Austin, Texas, with his wife and his son. He is an avid mountain biker and climber with dozens of peaks under his belt on 4 continents, with plans for many more in the future.
Kevin's Bio
Kevin Kriss is the Director of Commercial Sales for North America at Agility Technical Solutions. Kevin possesses over 25 years of industry experience, including 10 years in electronic components and 15 years in contract manufacturing at leading EMS companies such as Flex, Virtex, and NeoTech. Based in Central Texas, he focuses on developing long-term customer partnerships by providing expert guidance in NPI, DFM/DFx, and supply chain strategy. His comprehensive background ensures that Agility’s clients transition smoothly from initial design to high-volume manufacturing.
John's Bio
John Brooks is the Director of Huntsville Operations at Agility Technical Solutions, joining the team in October 2024. A retired Army Aviation officer, he brings over 20 years of defense industry experience, including 14 years as a Senior Director with Huntington Ingalls Industries/Camber Corporation. John has deep expertise in program, contracts, and operations management and previously served as Program Manager for the DoD Mentor-Protégé Program.
Aaron's Bio
Aaron Carter is the Plant Manager for Agility Technical Solutions’ Central Texas (CTX) facility, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience in electronic manufacturing. His expertise spans manufacturing operations, program management, procurement, and sales. Aaron has held senior roles at UStx Contract Services, Innovative Circuits, Green Circuits, and Virtex, where he drove operational excellence and business growth. Prior to Agility, he led the launch of a lithium battery PCBA manufacturing line in Texas, scaling production to over 10,000 units annually. At Agility, Aaron leads the development and scaling of a world-class PCBA manufacturing operation in Central Texas to support the company’s long-term growth strategy.
